Sophie Walker is a Golf Professional and former Ladies European Tour player based in the North West of England. Sophie has many roles in Golf as a coach, you tuber, equipment reviewer and commentator – you will see her on course on Sky Sports, as well as on the YouTube Channels Golfalot (which ended in February 2023) and How Did I Do. As of February 2023, she was also announced as Titleist Ambassador.
With approxomaltey only 13% of golfers in the UK being women, the stats of women golf coaches are even lower. Very few Golf Clubs around the Country have a female Golf Pro or coaches, with Driving ranges also lacking diversity in their coaching.
We invited Sophie along to the network to find out more about her story and ask her thoughts as to why there are so few female golf coaches in the UK.
