Who We Work With

We don’t just tick boxes; we make change happen.

However, to create true change, the world of sports needs to develop a more equitable culture from the inside out, from how athletes are coached to how women’s sport is portrayed in the media.

We’re working towards this aim by engaging and supporting individuals, organisations, and institutions across the entire spectrum of elite sport.

Elite Coaches

We provide coaches – both male and female – the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals dedicated to making an impact in high-performance sports by making it a more equitable space for women.
The FCN champions coaches and gives them an independent voice. It also connects them to opportunities that can help them progress in their careers, such as involvement in studies, coaching projects, and public speaking.

Elite Athletes

Elite athletes want change. Like us, they see significant benefits in having a diverse, knowledgeable coaching team around them.
We speak up on behalf of professional athletes – many of whom can’t for fear of repercussions from their governing bodies – on issues surrounding gender inequality both on the sports field and in the world of coaching.
Where necessary, we also connect elite athletes to specialist lawyers should they need legal support.

Sports Teams/Clubs

We’ve been privileged to work with some of the most forward-thinking sports teams in the world, who are speaking up about gender inequality and making changes to improve the outlook for future generations.
We provide consultancy, evidence-led advice, and unwavering support to clubs that need an independent body to help them navigate the changes they’re making.

National Governing Bodies/Organisations/Federations

National governing bodies, organisations, and federations are at the heart of the FCN’s quest to fix the system from the inside out.
We conduct independent research for them in their specific sporting niches and provide consultation services to help them break down barriers for female coaches.
We’ve also helped several governing bodies organise and deliver their own workshops, seminars, and conferences on the topic of coaching equity

Universities and Academic Institutions

Objectivity, data, and hard facts are key to challenging the coaching system from within, which is why universities and academic institutions are critical to the FCN’s work.
We’ve supported many academic research projects by helping institutions contact coaches and athletes, giving them access to our own data, and promoting their reports both through our own social media channels and by sharing them with national bodies, teams, and the media.

Sports Agents/Agencies

Elite sportspeople often have to rely on additional income streams, so we connect athletes and coaches with sports agents and agencies to discuss sponsorship and funding opportunities.

The Media

We’re often approached by both print and broadcast media outlets to provide comments on topical sports news stories.
The FCN also regularly connects elite athletes and coaches with journalists and vice versa to help raise awareness of the plight of females within sports.

Sports Brands

Many sports brands have committed to making the world of elite sport a better, safer, and fairer environment for females.
We provide them with independent advice and consultancy on any pertinent projects and/or campaigns they’re running, and we connect them to athletes, coaches, and governing bodies who can support them.
Many of the household brands we’ve worked with have seen huge PR and reputational benefits from their work in this field, which we’re delighted to be able to support.

Event Organisers

From online webinars to huge, in-person conferences, the FCN has supported multiple sporting events worldwide.
We help event organisers find the best and most suited speakers, panel leaders and educators for their events, and also present at a number of them ourselves
